The world is imperfect,
but there are millions of perfect moments.
The FaithClub is the exploration of faith of three New York women after the tragic events of 9/11. Ranya, Muslim, Suzanne, Christian and Priscilla, Jewish, are honest and inspiring in questioning their faith and the impact it has on their life. Small prejudice are uncovered. Heartache is present.Minds gain understanding. Hearts become opened. Individual beliefs questioned. However, hope overcomes it all. Here are a few of my favorite quotes:
In talking with two people of other faiths, everything I believed had been called into question. In my attempt to understand Ranya’s and pricilla’s faiths, I had begun to understand what was vital in my own. Suzanne Oliver
I morned the differences between the loftier ideals of our religions (Israelis and Palestinians) and the brutal reality of our human actions. Ranya Idliby
They Ranya and Suzanne) have taught me how to disagree and still stay the course, how to speak passionately and still listen, and, more importantly, hear others. Pricilla Warner
I highly recommend The Faith Club by Ranya Idliby, Suzanne Oliver and Priscilla Warner.
