Exercising is a proven way to release stress, however sometimes fitting it into my schedule feels like it creates more stress than i am releasing! My go to exercise is walking. However, with the colder weather I am committing to some options that are simple and can be done inside. Here are some ideas:
1. Find an app. I like Gorilla Workout. They show how exactly how to do each exercise and all you need is you.
2. Use bands. Often used for physical therapy, bands are easy to use at home, inexpensive and available for different levels.
3. Get a new dvd. I can often get bored with repetitive work outs, so mixing it up with something new makes it easier to get going.
My priority is to maintain the habit of exercising 5 days a week and not letting the cold weather be a factor.
